Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is a long-term, science-based approach to managing pests and plant diseases while minimizing risk to people, pets, and the environment. It focuses on prevention and uses a combination of methods such as cultural practices, biological control, and habitat management.

Pesticides are only used when necessary and are applied in a targeted way based on monitoring and established guidelines.

A pest is any organism—such as an insect, weed, fungus, or microbe—that damages or interferes with plants, landscapes, crops, or structures. Pest damage can affect plant health, appearance, or overall growth and productivity.

IPM strategies focus on preventing and managing pest problems through smart landscape practices such as improving irrigation, adjusting fertilization, modifying cultural practices, and reducing pest habitats. It also encourages natural predators to help keep pest populations under control.

We provide plant health diagnostics and reporting for pests, diseases, fungi, and soil-related issues. Our services include seasonal planning, emergency plant health diagnostics, treatment recommendations (bio-friendly or chemical when necessary), and soil, irrigation, and weed management strategies.

Pricing depends on your location and the size and complexity of the area being assessed. A technician will perform an on-site evaluation and provide a customized diagnosis report. An initial consultation fee applies, with additional service costs outlined in your service breakdown.

Our approach is science-based and grounded in research and field expertise. We draw on established agricultural and horticultural knowledge, including resources from land-grant universities in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

We provide professional-level diagnostics and management strategies designed to deliver accurate, effective solutions for plant health issues across a wide range of landscapes.

In many cases we offer expertise for the local spray/applicator companies in the region, and farmers who need more bang for their harvest.

We do provide ongoing maintenance or labor services. We focus on diagnosing plant health issues and developing customized treatment and management plans.

We identify the root cause of problems by evaluating plant health, soil conditions, and irrigation practices. From there, we provide clear recommendations and action steps to help guide proper care.

We also offer emergency diagnostic services for urgent plant health issues. Outcomes depend on the severity and stage of the problem, and in some cases, removal may be recommended if damage is too advanced.
